2022 San Diego, Anza Borrego, Joshua Tree

Itching to travel, but not quite ready to go international, we decided to take a roadtrip to a few of the incredible destinations we have just a day’s drive away. Since moving to California back in 2015, we have to pinch ourselves to believe that we live in such a place with so many world-class options for outdoor adventure.

We toyed with driving to the Grand Canyon and New Mexico, but decided we would save for Spring, when temps were more in line with Herb’s comfort zone. Instead, we chose to head south for a few days in San Diego, and then on to Anza-Borrego (California’s largest state park), and then decide from there.
