Herb and I debated whether or not to even post this trip on our website, since we were tent camping rather than RVing, but there was enough good new stuff to make it worth the effort.
As much as we love our motorhome, it does require considerable prep and decommission time, and limits us somewhat as to roads we can travel on. This was to be primarily a week-long, off-roading trip through Death Valley with some additional explorations off beautiful Highway 395 in the Eastern Sierra.
So, we got out our old camping gear, filled a cooler, and headed out for roads unknown. It definitely had a liberating feel to it.
