1999 Road Trip to Boston Suburbs
November 26, 1999 - November 28, 1999
2 days 615 miles 7 stops

This was the first Thanksgiving since Herb’s dad passed away, so we thought it would be a good idea to do something different with Herb’s mom to make it a little easier for her. She had never been in an RV before, so we thought it would be fun to take her on a little trip. It’s not easy finding campgrounds open after October, but there are a few. A really wonderful all-year-round campground is the award-winning Normandy Farms in Foxboro, Massachusetts. We figured that from there we could take a lot of interesting day trips to places like Lexington and Concord, Salem, and Gloucester.
